While on vacation in Colorado, we stayed with friends in Johnstown, CO. Upon our arrival we met quite possibly the cutest puppy EVER. He is a dappled miniature dachshund and was only 3 1/2 weeks old at the time. His parents are dappled dachshunds and his dad has one blue eye and one brown eye. "Monkey", as our friend lovely calls him, has two blue eyes and is has brown dapples.

Needless to say, we immediately fell in love and decided that he needs to join our motley crew back in PA when he is old enough. In November we'll make a trip back to CO to pick up Lil Abner (aka Lil A or L.A.) and we can't wait.
