"Can you tell me how to get...How to get to Sesame Street"
A 2-year-old skit on Sesame Street that referenced a news channel named "Pox News" came under fire this week when conservative bloggers accused the long-running PBS series of a liberal bias. In the clip, Oscar the Grouch is a reporter for the Grouch News Network (GNN), but he bored one female viewer, whose response is causing a bit of an uproar.
The clip/story:
An ombudsman for PBS agrees the parody "should have been resisted" by producers.
"Sunny day - Sweepin’ the clouds away,
On my way to where the air is sweet.
Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street..."
Till next time,
Betty
