I grew up watching Sesame Street and The Electric Company. I spent some time traveling down "memory lane" tonight - thanks to YouTube - and thought I'd share some "gems" that I found:

I watched TV a lot as a kid. My brother and I were "latchkey kids" back in the late 70s - early 80s so we spent a lot of time indoors when my mom was working.

They don't make children's television programming like the used to. I remember Saturday mornings as being "sacred". We watched Bugs Bunny, Hong Kong Phooey, Laugh-Olympics and Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch....to name a few. The final act of our Saturday morning TV watching was American Bandstand....those were the days.

I am sure I am "dating" myself here, but I enjoy waxing nostalgic from time to time and YouTube helps me get my "fix".
