I have a confession to make...

I missed tonight's episode of American Idol due to a work commitment and I am sad.

Deep down, as a well-traveled and well-rounded music lover, I feel guilty for even watching this show, but I can't help myself. I have tried to rationalize to others (and to myself) why I spend two nights per week suffering through Ryan Seacrest's painful lack of talent and Paula Abdul's ramblings, but there is no reason that seems good enough. There - I've said it. Anyone else willing to admit to watching American Idol?
